Time to Spend More Money

I’ve made my decision and when I get enough money the Nikon 70-300 f- 4.5-5.6 VR lens is going to be the next one I buy. I would replace the 70-300mm lens I have now. I like it because of the VR and the internal zoom and focus, I also like the fact that I can manually focus it unlike my current 70-300. I will also be purchasing Abobe Light Room here in a few weeks (thank you Timken Bonus Checks), and I’m seriously looking into buy Photoshop CS3 when it is released.

The White Room

Yesterday I was told that I would be learning the white room coordinators job so that I could fill in when shes gone. So today I started learning it. Then just before the day was over I was told that I had a very critical job that I need to do and that the Plant Manager was very nervous about the results that I might come up with after collecting the data I needed. I found out that I would be looking for Chrome Balls for the Government. They didn’t know how long it would take me to get everything I need, I just know that I will be working directly with a couple supervisors and three other members of production control to sort the mess out.The only major snag is that most of the balls are in the white room and I’m not certified so I can’t go in there. That means on Monday I get to take a crash course and become certified in one day rather the the three days it normally takes. Maybe when this is all done they might consider making me a full time member of PC, I know that they’re testing me, everything they’ve given me has been more important to saving money and helping OTD then the last one.

Update

A couple of big things have happened in the last couple of weeks. First I have a temp job within Timken as an Inventory Analyst. I’ve been looking at lots of numbers and entering data in to the system and getting everything read for the big change to SAP in a couple months. I’ve been told that this is a great opportunity for me and am starting to wonder if this will be a temp to permanent job kind of thing.

Secondly Kate and I will be moving in one week to a bigger two bedroom apartment in West Keene. The rent is a little more but the space is worth it, and no getting a two bedroom apt. doesn’t mean that we are going to have kids anytime soon(Mom and Kaeleigh). The move is on the 31st of March so if anyone wants to help your more then welcome.

Today I was looking at the stats for this blog and noticed that Google.ca was listed, so I went to check where I ranked on Google in Canada, I was the number one result. In Google US I come in the number two spot. I guess that I’m more popular in Canada for some reason. I also notices that being linked by Twitter I have shot up the Google ranking.

Well it only took 8 months but I finally have some pictures of our wedding. I made it with the web feature in the new Adobe Lightroom. I have the trial version but I will be buying it real soon.
